Jeff Johnsgaard of NTS offers two things: Process and Content. Process refers to the method of instruction, both the structure and technique of teaching for the most beneficial learning to occur. A large portion of our process has been taken from Mr. Ken Murray of the Reality Based Training Association (RBTA.net). His course on Reality Based Training is the best we have ever seen and his methods have been proven to work for almost three decades.
The Illinois Martial Arts Academy (IMAA) is the premier martial arts organization in the area, dedicated to delivering the highest quality self defense and fitness training available. Our programs provide a safe and supportive learning environment that students of all ages can enjoy. Sensei Charles Masny has decades of vast experience in many arts including Black Belts in: Karate, Japanese Jujutsu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Dr. Jeremy M. Butler is an educator, defensive tactics instructor, scholar in the psychology of physical training, and former police officer.
Dr. Butler also pursued and earned a PhD in Kinesiology. Dr. Butler is currently an Assistant Professor of Health Promotion and Performance at Judson University and an instructor at the University of Illinois Police Training Institute.
360 GGS has really provided me with a sense of awareness like no other. I have a newfound confidence in which I can handle my weapon while transitioning into positions, while under duress, and still providing an accurate shot.
Throughout the instruction, Dan has a wonderful attention to the little details as we train. He provides easy to understand, positive input to improve and hone student technique. Minutedetails for example, in grip, posture, procedures, along with theapplications of what, when, why, where and how we use these techniques creates an abundance of easy to learn, useful knowledge that is hard to beat. He also has a very practical way of connecting the big pieces of puzzle, as we tie techniques and scenarios together into one. I enjoy every class I attend with Dan, gaining quality experiences that will not only last a lifetime, but is well delivered, easy to retain, and simple to stay current with. Frank S.
The 360 Gun Grappling System as taught by Daniel Spychalski is a "must have" skill set for law enforcement officers, executive protection agents, or anyone who needs an easy-to-understand weapon retention system.
The solid basics lead to multiple applications from a "grounded" or "downed" position, without the prerequisite of a formal "grappling" martial art.
As a long-time DT instructor and even longer time martial artist, I find the 360 GGS an essential tool for the toolbox.
