Accepted training by the International Law Enforcement Educators Training Association (ILEETA) in 2022. Daniel received outstanding reviews on the delivery of instruction and course content.
Law Enforcement Training Officers’ Association had accepted this training and it was delivered very successfully to law enforcement officers in Wisconsin.
The International Association of Firearms Instructors has accepted this training system: “excellent instructor who has really done a lot of homework setting up his program for a niche topic that is rarely addressed. Great job!” -Fletch Fuller
“Daniel brought this course down to earth. I absolutely loved this course. I recommend a full course come to IALEFI. Daniel brought it to a capsule form and took great care for students and time.”
Daniel has a martial arts background in many arts (Arnis, Wing Chun, Kickboxing) spanning over 30 years, beginning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1994. During this time, multiple black belts have been earned, with the highest ranking in Kajukenbo (5th degree), a very early, mixed martial art from Hawaii formed in 1947. Black Belt level competition experience in Judo and submission grappling. Daniel had undergone 5 MMA matches (4-1) and also become a 2-time, Supercop Grappling Champion. True technique, timing and training methods lead to success and this is offered in all aspects of our training.
In the spirit of combat martial arts based upon resistive training (Randori), the Perpetrator Shootback Target idea was created by Daniel who devoted many years to it's implementation for realistic and safe shoot back range training. The system offers trainees the opportunity to have resistive, live fire, firearms training. The Perpetrator was deemed, a "Sparring Partner for the Range."
Establishing a functional, tactically effective and reliable robot system was the first step. Generating safe range procedures for a moving target that shoots back was another goal attained by Daniel. Having offered many years of shoot back training to civilian firearms owners as well as police in service training, having excellent outcomes.
Daniel transitioned from conventional manufacturing processes including milling machines and lathes to Solidworks CAD Design creations made by 3D Printers of a wide variety of engineering grade composite materials. This has led Officer Under Fire to have offerings of tactical products including gun accessories and ballistic shield components. This includes the Weapon Reloading System, US Patent #7707P0011US. Additional ballistic shield innovations and another patent is pending.
Over the past three years, Daniel has focused Officer Under Fire priorities towards ballistic shields and accessories with the technology of 3D printing.
This additional manufacturing and design capabilities are in process, being applied to the next generation Perpetrator Shootback Target System. The goal being the most tactically sound, Perpetrator Range Sparring Partner.
Daniel has refocused his energy and attention to training. With the founding of the 360 Gun Grappling System, it's implementation synced with the Martial Way and modern tactics is continually progressing for all. From a complete ground system to clinching, mobile shooting to pistol capabilities out to 100 yards; the Perfection Point is always strived for.
